Fabrication& upgrade
Structural steel, skids and modules built to drawing and installed on site.
Fabrication covers everything from a replacement handrail to a process skid that has to land on a deck and line up with existing tie-ins. We work to the drawing and the code called out in the specification, and we weld to qualified procedures.
Upgrade work sits alongside it: adding capacity, replacing obsolete equipment, or modifying a facility so it meets a standard it was not originally built to. Fit-up problems are cheaper to solve in the yard than offshore, so as much as possible is proven before anything is shipped.
